To cater for the housing needs of Overseas Pakistanis and to provide them residential facilities, OPF has planned and established a number of housing schemes in different cities of the country. Thousands of plots created in these schemes were allotted to Overseas Pakistanis. These schemes are located at the prime locations in the cities of Islamabad, Lahore, Gujrat, Peshawar, Dadu, Larkana and Mirpur (AJK). OPF Valley Zone-V Islamabad is located on Japan road alongside the Sawan River, about 24 kilometers from Zero Point. The scheme has been planned over an area of 5000 kanals. The Master plan of the scheme was prepared by M/s NESPAK and approved by CDA. Adequate educational and recreational facilities including lakes, parks, amenities club etc, have also been planned in the scheme.

Project Details

The main objective of the project is to provide sustainable irrigation water supply to 1, 63,100 acres of agricultural land so as to increase agricultural production and uplift the socio economic condition of the inhabitants. Upon completion, this project will satisfy 70% of agricultural requirements of DIK

and surroundings area.
