JAGGRAN-II HYDROPOWER PROJECT

Completed in 2021, the 81-kilometre, four-lane Swat Motorway has significantly reduced travel time between Islamabad and Chakdara from four hours to just one hour and forty-five minutes. Connecting the Karnel Sher Khan Interchange on the M-1 with Chakdara, the motorway navigates challenging mountainous terrain and features 1,800-metre twin-tube tunnels at Palai and Ala Dhand to ensure smooth and safe transit.
