The organization has comprehensive in-house expertise in tunnel design, construction and operations, demonstrated through landmark projects including the twin-tube tunnels of the Swat Motorway, the diversion tunnel of the Diamer Basha Dam and the headrace tunnels of the Jaggran-II Hydropower Project. Strengthening this capability at the national level, the Tunneling Institute of Pakistan (TIP) serves as a world-class hub for innovation in tunneling and is the sixth facility of its kind globally, while the Pakistan Tunneling & Trenchless Society (PTTS) represents Pakistan as the country’s sole participant at the largest international tunneling forum
