Located on the Jaggran Nullah near the Line of Control (LoC) in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the Jaggran-II Hydropower Project (HPP) is designed to generate 48 megawatts of clean electricity for the national grid
A key feature of the project is its extensive tunneling works, particularly the construction of the headrace tunnel, engineered to efficiently convey water from the intake to the powerhouse with optimal hydraulic performance demonstrating high technical precision in design and execution
In addition to strengthening the national energy portfolio, the project has enhanced local capacity by providing specialized experience in tunneling and hydropower development to engineers and skilled workers
